Hellboy Director’s game has been dropped

Del Toro 2

It is with sadness that the news reaches us that THQ have decided to drop any further development on inSane, the survival horror game created by movie director Guillermo Del Toro (famous for films such as Hellboy and Pans Labyrinth).

While the game was first announced in 2010, it was still believed to be on track for release when it appeared on the THQ release calendar but recently THQ President Jason Rubin announced this was not the case.

The good news is that Del Toro still owns the rights to the game, so if he wanted to, he could shop the title around and possibly get it backinto development and onto our consoles. Fingers crossed this happens.
