There have been numerous releases onthe PS3that aren’t running in full 1080p HD, or evenat720p for that matter. GTA IV runs at 640p, with other blockbuster games such as Call of Duty 4 alsofalling short on the pixel count.Upcoming release Haze follows the same trend.
Videophiles who have carefully dissected the recently released Haze demo have discovered the game to be only running at 576p.Derek Littleword of Free Radical has confirmed that this low resolutionis the same in the final build of the game, stating”That’s where we ended up with for Haze … but I don’t understand why people care whether there’s 20 pixels, 50 pixels, or 100 pixels more.”
