Harmonix teased that this week’s Rock Band downloadable content would feature the “most requested song” in the franchise’s history. Very few could have predicted the outcome.
The announcement came via Twitter: “If it wasn’t clear from the announcement, yes, Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” is the single most requested song from RB/request!”
Releasing on Tuesday (14th February) to coincide with Valentine’s Day, the “Gold Star My Heart” pack contains four cheesily romantic tracks:
- Heart – “Alone”
- Mr. Big – “To Be With You”
- Poison – “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”
- Rick Astley – “Never Gonna Give You Up”
