Hard drive’s feel the ‘payne’ as Max releases on Marketplace

Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne are now available to purchase from the Xbox Live Marketplace as Xbox Originals. The surprise release coincides with the buzz surrounding Rockstar’s future release, Max Payne 3, available in Winter 2009.

Max Payne Description:
Max Payne is a man with nothing to lose. A fugitive, undercover cop framed for murder, he is now hunted by cops—and the mob. With his back against the wall, Max is fighting a battle he cannot hope to win.

Max Payne 2 Description:
Between a cop, Max Payne, and a femme fatale murder suspect, Mona Sax. Dark, tragic, and intense, the story is a thrill ride of shocking twists and revelations.

What is interesting to see is the file sizes of both titles. Max Payne is a whopping 6GB in comparison to Max Payne 2’s 2GB, despite both titles being priced at 1200 Microsoft Points. Can your hard drive handle the sheer size of either title? Leave us a comment with your thoughts.
