Halo Waypoint to be updated daily

Microsoft has revealed more details on the new Halo Waypoint service for Xbox Live.

It will be split into two sections including one which focuses on Intel and the other the Career mode.

Intel will be the place for all the Halo content whether it be videos, articles, fiction, screenshots and tips/tricks plus a few extra special features.

More excitingly is the exclusive Halo Legends animation series which will launch with the service.

They promise to update the service at least once a day with new stuff. Meanwhile over in career mode, that’ll track progress across multiple Halo games including Halo 3, ODST, Halo Wars and all the DLC.

It will convert achievements into an overall raking and recognition system which will then reward you based on score. Earn a group of achievements and you’ll be recognised and climb the tier system.

Halo Waypoint will launch on Games on Demand from 5th November. Silver members will get ‘access for a limited time’, otherwise it is only for Gold members.
