“Reach may not be the lastHalo we see…”

Wait a minute. I thought Halo: Reach was going to be the final Halo game in the franchise? Well perhaps not if this story is to be confirmed. According to CVG, 343 Industries – the guys who after Reach will take over the studio – are working on a new Halo title.

This all came about as on the Microsoft site that advertises jobs, 343 Industries have asked for ‘experienced Missions Designer who can design and build missions for our next big project’.

It’s then come to light that developer Paul Ehreth, who has worked for Microsoft Game Studios since 2009, has updated his linkedln profile to include his new job role. On his CV for the month of July it now reads ‘designing new levels and missions for the next Halo project’ at 343′.

Sound interesting enough. It wouldn’t surprise me if another Halo game was in development despite us all thinking Halo: Reach is the last. We’ll await some more information from Microsoft before getting excited.

Would you like to play another Halo game after Reach? Discuss your thoughts below!
