A thirteen year old lad from Grapevine in America has broke the Guinness World Record for the highest score on a single song on Guitar Hero III at a 24-hour Guitar Hero marathon benefiting the Education Is Freedom project.
Daniel Johnson played the song ‘Through the Fire and the Flames’ by Dragonforce on Expert and racked up an impressive 890,971 points on his first attempt beating the previous record by 10,000 points.
As players of the game will know, TtFtF is one of the hardest Guitar Hero songs to date and even on Medium it is a tricky affair for players. Expert players must posess some magic fingers to garner up a record so good. Nevertheless it is official!
Daniel commented: “I’m glad that I had the opportunity to break the record and help people learn about Education is Freedom.”
The previous record was held by Chris Chike who achieved a score of 880,920 in March 2008. The lucky winners received some flight tickets and an array of gaming goodies.
