Ghost Recon 3 City Scape screen

Whilst treking around the internet, we stumbled across an image from Ghost Recon 3, of a city scape. The size of the city is immense, and it looks like the majority of it (apart from the greyed out bit in the background) is playable.

We don’t actually know how much of it is playable, and how much of it will just be a backdrop, but it gives you an idea of just how big the maps could be.

Update:
We have heard that this screen is of Mexico City, where the Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter takes place! That isn’t a map, thats the entire game!

Unlike past versions of ghost recon, you will not go from level to level via load screen. Instead you will travel around Mexico City, and once you have finished your objective in one part of the city, you will be picked up by blackhawk helicopter and transported to your next objective. While your flying, you will have to shoot down other helicopters, enemies sniping on the rooftops, and other little perks you get to enjoy while manning a 50. caliber machine gun on a Black Hawk.

So get ready to know that screen VERY WELL, because you’ll be in its streets, on its rooftops, and in its buildings come March!
