Gamers triumph again. It turns out according to a survey by IGN Entertainment and Ipsos Media CT that 55% of gamers are married and single gamers are twice as likely to go on dates in a certain month than non-gamers.
The study, which featured 3000 participants, shows that stereotypes of gamers are terribly wrong. It showed that we are more socially, physically and mentally active than a non-gamer would be. “Based on the research, it’s obvious that the gaming market has outgrown many commonly held stereotypes about the relative homogeneity of video gamers,” says Director of Research for Ipsos Media CT, Adam Wright.
