FUEL demo out today

For those still undecided by the open-world racer, FUEL, Codemasters has told us that a demo will be online from 2pm GMT today on the Xbox marketplace and PS3 network.

The demo will allow you to take on the Ocean Rush career event with seven other racers. Blitz is also another challenge where you race against the clock. And an extra special bonus for console players is for two weeks you can have a free ride with 16 other players in an area of the Tsunami Reef zone or challenge 6 people in an Ocean Rush career race.

Sounds rather fun-packed to us. However our Craig wasn’t so impressed with the game when he tested it out: “Fuel had the makings of a great game but just falls over too many hurdles. It is fun in free mode but that isn’t enough to nearly warrant a purchase.”

At least you can make your mind up now. And don’t forget that Guinness World Record for having the ‘Largest Playable Area in a Console Game’ award. Yeah makes all the difference.
