It has been a while since we last heard about this upcoming racer. So it was a surprise to have some new screenshots crash into our inbox for Codemasters’ latest racing title – FUEL – for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Below are just a few of the latest additions to our media area for this game, if you wish to check out the full range of media we have on the site Click Here.

A new CGI trailer has also been released on the official FUEL website click here to view the video. The video introduces FUEL’s immense landscape and astonishing no-boundaries playfield that, at 5,000 square miles (14,000+ km²) in size, delivers the world’s largest racing environment. With ultra-competitive races at break-neck speed and huge jumps, the trailer’s dramatic race captures the spirit of FUEL perfectly. The video also previews the game’s extreme weather effects, including violent twisters that tear across the landscape.

This should tie us over till Colin is back with Dirt 2 – oh joy! 🙂

FUEL is coming Q2 2009 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

“The rumours are true, they are THIS big!”

“Just PURE entertainment”

“Should keep us busy until Colin McRae: DiRT 2”
