A major update and downloadable content for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will arrive on the Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow (Wednesday 27th October 2010), Crystal Dynamics have revealed. The major update will add the long-awaited online co-operative play, a feature that was originally expected to be available in late September.
For a limited time only, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light players will also be able to download new content. The first pack, entitled: ‘All The Trappings,’ contains a brand new area to conquer and features a combination of puzzle, exploration and combat experiences. The pack will see a price increase thirty days after the downloadable content is released.
Darrell Gallagher, General Manager of Crystal Dynamics stated: “We’re delighted the Online Co-op is ready and going live – as a thank you to the patient Xbox gamers, and for a limited time only we will be giving away our first DLC pack for free. Download it, have a go and while you’re there try the online co-op mode, it’s great fun.”
The co-operative and downloadable content update for PlayStation 3 is “coming soon.”
