Four ways to play Brawl.

As we reported earlier, over the coming weeks new Smash Bros info was on the way. Since the new Smash Bros official site opened gamers have been treated to daily news about the upcoming brawler.

Today’s update reveals that when the game ships it will feature support for various control methods. They are as follows:

  • Wii Remote (held sideways)
  • Wii Remote and Nunchuck
  • Classic Controller
  • Gamecube Controller

The blog style website, which is updated by the game’s creator Masahiro Sakurai, had the following to say on the various control methods on offer:

“The Wii console really is a versatile piece of hardware. I mean, when it comes to controllers, there are pretty much four different types. I guess I have no choice but implement them all!

I suppose I would recommend the Nintendo GameCube controller, though. I like the feel of that powerful rumble.”

So there you have it, various ways to play. Which control method will you be using?
