Yesterday saw a list of the top 20 selling console games in Europe and it made for interesting reading.
The top two spots were taken up by EA’s behemoth sporting title FIFA ’13. The Xbox came out on first with the PS3 in a close second. Oddly third spot is taken up by FIFA ’12 on the PS3.
Call of Duty comes on through in 4th for the PS3 showing that gamers haven’t forgotten the much loved shooter.
Super Mario Land 3D, Dance Central 3 and Mario Kart 7 take 5th, 6th and 7th respectively before yet another PS3 title chimes in by way of Gran Turismo 5.
All told the top 20 games consist of 9 PS3 titles, 3 360 titles, 5 Wii titles and 3 3DS games. Perhaps the 360 is losing a bit of steam in the UK market and it seems that the PS3 is picking up on the big white boxe’s slack.
It’ll be interesting to see what these charts look like in 2013.
