FIFA 16 tops UK Video Games Chart

FIFA 16 has started the new season in style by topping the UK Video Games Chart.

According to figures from Chart-Track, physical sales of the football simulator are down 7% over FIFA 15’s launch week, though this is likely due to the rise in popularity of digital sales.

45% of those physical sales were on PlayStation 4, with the Xbox One accounting for 36%. Meanwhile, 13% were on the Xbox 360, with the remaining 6% on the PlayStation 3.

Elsewhere in the charts, Destiny: The Taken King and Forza Motorsport 6 have dropped one place each to second and third respectively.

New entry Skylanders Superchargers and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain make up the rest of the top five. The full top 20 can be found below.
