Fast and Furious – Screens and Box Art

Since the Fast and Furious films hit cinemas I always thought it would be a great videogame franchise to rival that of Burnout for Need or Speed. However part of me was always concerned that it wouldn’t be executed properly and just be another tiresome movie cash in title.

Well we won’t have long to wait to find out which it will be, when Fast and The Furious: Showdown launches onto Xbox 360’s and Playstation 3’s in late May.

Activison have released some screens and box art of the game which will see players choose between four different roles as they take part in driving missions. The playable classes include Driver, gunman and daredevil.

In addition to the driving missions there will be a challenge mode and players will be able to mod their car in true street racing fashion.

I am holding out hope but it would be great if this game can bring some of the big screen magic to consoles. The game will be released on 21st May in America and 24th May in Europe. Let us know your thoughts on the announcement about the game and the screenshots by leaving a comment below.
