Farming Simulator 15 announced, first details revealed

The first details for Farming Simulator 15 have officially been announced.

Similarly to its predecessor, Farming Simulator 15will see gamers face the daily challenges of a modern farmer as they grow crops, sell produce, rear livestock and manage and develop their own farming complex in two immense open worlds, with a new Nordic setting.

Other new features include improved visual effects and graphic rendering, extra activities (including logging), forested areas management and new vehicles.

The game’s developer, Focus Interactive said: “Sticking to the recipe that has so far proved such a smash hit, the Farming Simulator franchise is now moving up a gear. A new graphics and physics engine, new visual effects, a new interface, new gameplay mechanics and, of course, a new and vast game environment; Farming Simulator 15 combines all the right ingredients to offer the richest and most detailed farming experience ever.”

Back in 2013, Farming Simulator 2013 was awarded 20% in the Console Monster review, being described as “a very weak title”.

Farming Simulator 15 is set to launch on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in early 2015.
