Fable 2 CE missing DLC codes to be emailed by Microsoft

So you spent that extra few pounds on the collector’s edition of Fable 2, only to have the content reduced and then find your game was missing the voucher for the downloadable content? Well fear not, it’s now possible to register with Microsoft and have that missing code sent via email.

Ah, but here’s the rub!Anyone with a Windows Live ID can register via the website and receive “Hal’s Armour”, the faux-medieval variant of Master Chief’s outfit from Halo, to use in Albion; assuming you’re not suffering from game freezing and other issues that are still awaiting patching.

Only one set of codes can be sent per email address, but it does now mean that the “exclusive” extras have lost their shine just a little bit. Aren’t you glad you paid that little bit more now?

Marty Greenwell

Marty has been gaming since the heady years of the ZX-81 and still owns most of the gaming systems purchased since those days, including the Atari 2600, ZX Spectrum, SNES, Jaguar, Dreamcast and GameCube. Being a collection junkie (or more accurately, hoarder), he buys more games than he can possibly play, far too many of which are still sealed in their packaging. Marty favours RPGs and Driving games when it comes to genres, and is possibly a little bit too addicted to Disgaea. When not gaming he’s out frightening OAPs on his motorcycle, clad in black leather.
