The game that has been around every corner since the Xbox 360’s launch has had so many delays that some feared it had been relegated to development hell, others declaring it vaporware. Well, that could all be set to change with an alleged screenshot, which was taken with a camera and has since floated to the surface of the Internet’s murky waters.

The small image which was taken and posted by an employee of Remedy, the makers of Alan Wake (their previous games include the iconic Max Payne). As the resolution is very low and the picture was taken with a camera, obscuring the finer details, the image’s validity is debatable, but if this is the real deal, then you may be looking at the first real gameplay shot of the game. Ever.
