EA, the world’s largest games publisher, has announced that it will allow Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 players to buy cheat codes through Xbox Live. The cheats will allow players access to certain features in the game. Those of you not willing to pay to unlock the features, will have to play through the game and unlock them the traditional way.
There will be five cheats to purchase ranging from between 200MSP (£1.70, €2.33, $2.50) and 300MSP (£2.55, €3.49, $3.75). It’s not the first time a publisher has charged players for cheats. Codemasters have a premium rate phone line which gamers can call to get cheats. However, it is the first time that cheats have been available to purchase through a console’s online service.
