EA – Bringin’ The Don To You.

After Capcom’s debacle involving Resident Evil 5 players having to pay for a multiplayer mode which arguably should have been included in the retail release, EA have announced that a DLC Multiplayer Mode will be available to subscribers of Xbox Live for a total fee of…Nothing!

EA’s announcement is a drive-by shooting for Capcom, who are attempting to charge for Resi 5 multiplayer functionality.

The multiplayer mode, intriguingly named ‘Don Control’, looks set to add to the multiplayer already on offer and set the scene for raw 16-player battles for money earned in the single player game. However it turns out, free DLC always looks good on the rap sheet, and this is one gangster that making an offer, that many players won’t be able to refuse.

Sam Finch

Sam has been unable to peel his bloodshot eyes and RSI-ridden wrists from the world of gaming since he was first introduced to it, like all good junkies, by his Grandad. From those early days of MegaDrive sweetness, bashing through the throngs of enemies on Shining Force II, his love of all things games has extended upwards and outwards onto a variety of platforms. You can either believe that spiel, or get the real scoop and know that his spaceship actually crashed here some years ago and he is currently incognito as a games writer for Console Monster.
