This week’s Xbox Live Arcade title has been revealed as Chime. Chime pits gamers against the melody in this all-new puzzle experience: Players place blocks against the clock, remix famous artists’ music tracks and contribute to children’s charities around the world.
60% of the profits made from the sale of Chime will be donated to the following two charities:
Save the Children is the leading independent organisation, creating real and lasting change for children in need around the world. Fighting starvation, diseases and abuse and bringing education where possible, Save the Children always seeks out the most marginalized children, wherever they are found. The ultimate aim is to inspire dramatic change for children and to involve them in creating that change.
Starlight Children’s Foundation is dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families worldwide cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. Starlight’s programs have been proven to distract children from their pain, help them better understand and manage their illnesses, and connect families facing similar challenges so that no one feels alone.
Chime is priced at 400 Microsoft Points and available from Wednesday 3rd February 2010.
