Some would say that it was only a matter of time due to the success the game has had. It is with no surprise then that today we have news that Dishonored will be receiving the DLC treatment.

There are three DLC packs detailed although no announcement of the new season pass treatment a lot of other games are receiving.

The first DLC is titled “Dunwall City Trials” and will contain 10 challenge maps. The challenges are to range from wave based combat to time trials. With the trials comes a global leaderboard for those wanting to compete with their friends.

The second DLC is to introduce a new playable character called Duad. This character is the leader of ‘The Whalers’, a group of supernatural assassins and with the DLC players will get new locations, abilities and weapons.

There is no release date for DLC packs two and three and little is known on what DLC pack three will contain.

Dunwall City Trials is due for release in December for a very reasonable 400MSP.
