The PlayStation 4 edition of Minecraft will be released on disc next month.
Minecraft: PS4 Edition went live on the PlayStation Store at the beginning of September, though will hit the shelves on Friday, October 3rd, 2014.
Sony, who revealed the news on their blog, confirmed that a day one patch will be available for the title.
This news comes following Microsoft’s acquisition of Minecraft developer Mojang, earlier this week.
