DiRT Showdown demo and retail release next month

Release dates for the DiRT Showdown demo and full retail release have been announced.

On the 1st May, a demo for DiRT Showdown will be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network. The content of the demo is not yet known.

The full game releases on the 25th of May in the UK – a year on from DiRT 3’s release, with the game launching across mainland Europe on the 24th of May and in North America on the 29th of May.

The news was revealed on the game’s official Twitter account.

GAME has the exclusive to the DiRT Showdown’s special edition. The “DiRT Showdown Hoonigan Edition” features Monster Energy liveries, Hoonigan liveries, a car upgrade boost, an inheritance cash fund to give players the opportunity to buy a second car at the start of the game and an Online XP boost that allows you to earn ‘Fanbase’ faster for the first 10 levels.

The special edition is priced at £39.99 and available for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
