Destiny will be offline for six hours to implement ‘future plans’

Destiny will be offline for up to six hours today, the game’s developer has confirmed.

Posting on Twitter, Bungie revealed that the scheduled maintenance is being used to implement “future plans”.

The tweet reads: “Destiny will be offline for scheduled maintenance for up to six hours today, with Bungie teasing the downtime will be used to implement ‘future plans’.”

The Taken King, the forthcoming expansion for Destiny, launches on Tuesday, September 15th, 2015.
