Destiny has stormed to the top of the UK Video Games chart, having recorded the biggest new IP launch in history.

According to Chart-Track, sales of Bungie’s first-person shooter were evenly split between the PlayStation and Xbox, despite the PS4 accounting for 46% of the sales. The Xbox One took 36% of the sales, with the Xbox 360 achieving 14%.

The Sims 4, Watch Dogs, Call of Duty: Ghosts and The Last of Us: Remastered makes up the remainder of the top five. The full top 20 is as follows:
