Destiny receives 2.44GB title update ahead of first expansion

Bungie has release a large title update for Destiny.

The update, which weighs in at 2.44GB, introduces a host of new features and fixes ahead of the game’s first expansion next month.

Posting on their website, Bungie said: “This is the first in a series of updates that will deliver new content in the lead up to The Dark Below. Update 1.0.3 provides new social features, revisions to activities, alterations to competitive spaces, adjustments to the player overall experience, as well as a sizable download of new content and geometry to support the first expansion of the world of Destiny.”

The post continued: “The Iron Banner special event is also being updated with new rules and features prior to its second run.”

A full list of patch notes can be found on Bungie’s website. “The Dark Below” expansion is launched on Tuesday, December 9th, 2014.
