A demo has swooped onto Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Ubisoft’s follow-up to their popular squadron-based flight combat game – Blazing Angels 2. Read on below for a little info on the demo.

“The demo features “Rain of Death,” a single-player mission where players will be able to pilot a futuristic Gotha Go 229 through the Baltic Coast, as well as “Champagne,” a multiplayer map optimized for eight-player (four-versus-four) squad-based combat.

The game is set in WWII, but the Gotha Go 229 is actually a rather futuristic-looking plane. Still, it was a prototype wing conceived by the Germans at the end of WWII, but didn’t participate to any combat mission. Blazing Angels 2 includes a wide range of prototype planes which have existed during WWII but didn’t actually take part in any operational combat.”
