As we reported yesterday, the demo for Dead Space has been added to the Xbox Live Marketplace today. The free demo, named the Dismemberment Demo, weighs in at a fairly small 382 MB and is currently only available to Xbox Live Gold members in all Xbox Live regions with the exception of Germany and Japan. The dashboard description reads:
Download the Dead Space Dismemberment Demo to get a taste of the most intense game experience of the year! As Engineer Isaac Clarke, strategically dismember the Necromorph hordes as you carve a bloody path to survival.
