Dead Rising 2 has been given a solid release date by Capcom, during X10, of Friday 3rd September 2010, almost exactly four years after its predecessor. However, Capcom had another announcement up its sleeve, revealing that Xbox 360 owners would be receiving an exclusive taste of the action, before the title releases.
A stand-alone prologue to Dead Rising 2 will be released prior to the full retail game’s release, known as Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. No details of a release date or pricing were revealed though what we do know is that the content will provide a link between the original Dead Rising and the upcoming events that await in Dead Rising 2.
