Dead Island 2 will be playable for the first time at Gamescom 2014, among other titles from publisher Deep Silver.
The firm plans to have over 150 gaming stations for PC and consoles on which to showcase its Gamescom line-up. Aside from Dead Island 2, consumers will also get to go hands-on with Metro Redux, Risen 3: Titan Lords, Sacred 3, Dead Island Epidemic and Emergency 5.

In March, Gamescom organiser Koelnmesse announced the first wave of exhibitors for this year’s event. Among others, Bethesda, CD Projekt Red, Crytek, EA, Konami, Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony and Ubisoft have been confirmed for Gamescom, which will take place in Cologne from August 13-17.
