Crytek UK: ‘A new Timesplitters game is not in development’

A new Timesplitters game is not in the works, it has been confirmed.

Responding to fresh rumours, Crytek UK, the studio formally known as Free Radical, told CVG that “it’s not in development.

A spokesperson for the studio joked: “We spent all of the development budget on buying monkeys.

Timesplitters: Future Perfect was the last title in the series, which released in 2005. Work on a fourth game began in 2007 though was later cancelled.
