Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure racing to XBLA and PSN this Autumn

We knew they were coming, now official word has been released by SEGA that Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi will be making their way to the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network later this year.

As expected, each game will feature almost-identical gameplay to that of its original Dreamcast incarnation. Both titles will feature the usual enhancements and features such as improved visuals and surround sound, as well as online leaderboards and achievements and trophy integration.

Both titles can be expected to release in the Autumn of this year to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the launch of the Dreamcast. Both titles will be on display at E3 next week so expect more details very soon.

Furthermore, SEGA revealed that Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi will be the first of many Dreamcast titles to be ported to the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Whilst there is currently no news on what titles, let’s re-ignite the Shenmue II rumours…
