Could 360 Gamers Be Getting Xbox LIVE Diamond?

It seems some details regarding Microsofts E3 2011 conference have leaked over the internet. The main juicy detail that has come out is the possibility of a new subscription level above Gold, called Diamond.

WinRumours have reported that Microsoft is currently putting the finishing touches to Xbox LIVE Diamond, the official name for the highly rumored Project Orapa. The Diamond subscription will combine MediaRoom IPTV services with Xbox LIVE, thus harnessing Kinect based motion control along with a whole host of other features.

It is also rumoured to be the first stage in a standalone hardware IPTV push by Microsoft, all of which is powered by Silverlight.

Microsofts conference is expected to be heavily based around the Kinect including demonstrations on the peripheral as well as IPTV streaming assuming it can put it all together in time.
