The teams are ready, the sign-ups are closed and the Console Monster GamerScore Challenge is go! After some discussion, we have decided to make a few alterations to the running of the league.
Rather than the league-style competition we planned, the competition will now run as a free-for-all. Starting from today (Monday 12th October), all players can obtain GamerScore and they will contribute to their team’s total. The top five teams with the highest GamerScore totals as of Sunday 25th October go through to the final week, where they will once again battle it out. The team with the highest GamerScore increase at the end of this final week (ending Sunday 1st November) is the overall victor.
With changes to the game’s format, it also means we have changes to the game’s prizes. Here is the new, improved list:
• The participant with the greatest number of GamerScore obtained throughout the challenge.
• The participant with the greatest number of games completed to 100% throughout the challenge.
• A random participant who took part in the competition.
So that players can keep a close eye on their opponent’s progress, you can find full statistics below:
Don’t forget to have another look at the challenge rules and from everyone at Console Monster: Good luck to all participants and happy GamerScore collecting!
