Classic Prince of Persia Coming to the Live Arcade *UPDATE: Screens & Video*

Ubisoft have announced that the 1989 Prince of Persia game is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade. The game was first released for the Apple II and has been ported to over 15 different platforms. Ubisoft say it will feature the same “intricate level design, exciting swordplay, puzzle solving, and storyline” as it did almost 20 years ago.

What is different however is the graphics which are now “close to 3D”. Gameloft, who are developing the game, have added new puzzle, enemies and traps to freshen things up a bit. Prince of Persia Classic is due to be released sometime this summer.

Update: We’ve just been handed four fresh new screens from the game. Check them out over in our media area, it’s looking pretty damn hot!

Update: Now with video too!
