Konami has announced two new downloadable content packs for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on Xbox 360 and PS3 thatincludes new areas, monsters, and brand new storylines.
The first pack, called ‘Reverie’, sees players return to the Castle as Gabriel to assist Laura, the former servant to the vampire Camilla, in “destroying the truly unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen.”
Upon completing Reverie, players can then download Resurrection, an altogether larger add-on that continues the story directly after the end of the original game. According to Konami, Resurrection “gives some insight into the dramatic epilogue seen by players upon the completion of the game, and Gabriel’s ultimate destiny.” The add-on also includes a final showdown with a “very notorious enemy.”
‘Reverie’ hits Xbox 360 and PS3 in February 2011, while ‘Resurrection’ launches two months later in April. Konami has yet to announce pricing details.
