Age of Booty (previously known as Plunder) has been given a release date by the game’s publisher, Capcom. As of Wednesday 15th October 2008, players will be available to download the Action Strategy game from the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points.
In Age of Booty, players control pirate ships with which they aim to raid, pillage, sink and destroy rivals in order to dominate the seas. Earlier this month, an open beta began for the game, inspired by Bungie’s ‘Pimps at Sea’ April fool’s joke.
The title will also be releasing on the PlayStation Network, most likely on Thursday 16th October. The game’s achievements can be viewed here.
