An advert for a Call of Duty: Black Ops Beta has been spotted on Google. The eagle-eyes of members of COD7BlackOps.com saw the advert under the ‘Sponsored links’ which dated the “exclusive Xbox 360 multiplayer beta” for the 1st September.
News of a Call of Duty: Black Ops Beta wouldn’t come as a surprise after last year’s successful Beta for Call of Duty 4. There has been previous talk of a Beta though there has currently been no solid confirmation from Activision. Stay tuned to Console Monster for more details.
Unfortunately it’s been confirmed that there currently is no beta sign-up. Anyone claiming to be giving away beta keys right at the moment should be taken with a large dose of sodium chloride. Never give your Xbox Live ID and password to anyone without checking first that these things are genuine.
