It is soon going to be possible to purchase those precious Microsoft points via your mobile phone, if you live in Japan.
Microsoft and Japanese mobile phone network DoCoMo have announced that from the the 26th of May users will be able to pay for Microsoft Points, and even Xbox Live Gold Subscriptions via a mobile interface. Any transactions made using the service will be then added to the users’ phone bill.
No word on whether a similar service would be coming to Europe or the US but it sure is a sign of what to expect in the future. Live Anywhere!?
