The sequel to underwater FPS Bioshock has officially been announced today by Take Two. The announcement came at a conference call to discuss financial results when Take Two announced that a Bioshock game is in development at Take Two’s new 2K Marin Studio. A vague release date was also announced as Fiscal 2009 which means the game is likely to be released before 31st October 2009.
Bioshock 2 has been rumoured to be a prequel set before the events portrayed in the first title. Stay tuned to Console Monster for more details on Bioshock 2.
