BETA: Tom Clancy’s EndWar

One of the biggest announcements at Ubisoft’s event – UbiDays which took place earlier this week in the beautiful capital which is Paris -was that the next installment in the Tom Clancy franchise; EndWar. Endwarwill be 100% controlled via your Xbox 360 Headset. (Unless you want to use the pad of course!)Continuing on from that Creative Director Micheal de Plater wants to get us even more excited by saying to Eurogamer:

“We really believe that as soon as anyone can get their hands on the controls and experience it, it’ll be something new and it’s a level of immersion and realism and accessibility that’s never really been in a strategy game. We’re really focusing on getting our beta-test out for November.”

He also believes that World War 3 gerne will be just as successful and diverse as many World War 2 titles hitting the shelves these days as he goes on to say:

As you can see from looking at World War II games, World War III is something that can be big enough to be explored from loads of different directions, loads of different theatres and genres – we really see this as the beginning of that,”

In light of that, there will be a public beta of the game in November 2007. No more details as to exactly when the beta will be, or how to get involved – but we’ll keep you updated when we find out more.

Ubisoft have also released a short Q&A with can be viewed HERE, HERE and oh HERE.
