Beowulf announced for the 360

The latest game to be announced for the Xbox 360 is 4HEAD Studios ‘Beowulf’. The game will be released on the Xbox 360 and maybe the PC to. It is yet to find a publisher so at this time there is no sign of a release date and no screenshots either.

Gustaf Stenchmann who is working on Beowulf offered a small insight into the new game, ‘Beowulf is an exceptionally strong license and has the potential to make quite a splash on next-generation platforms. With 4HEAD and 3D-IO, we have brought two of the most talented teams in the industry together, in order to develop this game to its maximum potential.’

3D-IO will also be working on the art and animation of Beowulf. Igor Posavec of 3D-IO said ‘3D-IO is renowned for its unique artistic style, and is specialized on delivering stunning 3D graphics of the highest quality. This partnership is an ideal match of skills and will allow us to significantly boost the overall production output, and thus the scale and appeal of the game.

Beowulf the game is an action adventure, one of the strong points will be an innovative combat system and in-depth storyline. The games story also relates to the book Beowulf, so if you want more info on the new game pop down to your local library.
