BBC working on Grand Theft Auto-based drama

The BBC is working on a new drama based on Grand Theft Auto, the broadcaster has revealed.

According to BBC News, the programme will be launched as part of the Make it Digital scheme, which will “give away mini-computers to 11-year-olds across the country, as part of its push to make the UK more digital”.

Sources close to IGN revealed that the programme will “follow the Houser brothers and how the idea for Grand Theft Auto was developed”.

Earlier this week, Rockstar Games added the much-anticipated “Heists” game mode to Grand Theft Auto Online.
