After yesterday’s confusion with the Battlefield: Bad Company demo, we’ve been digging around to find out all the little details. It turns out those who pre-ordered a copy of Battlefield: Bad Company from GameStop or Amazon.com would receive access to the demo on Wednesday 28th May or Thursday 29th May, a week before the demo will be available on the XBOX Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network to everyone else on the 5th June.
The Battlefield: Bad Company demo is both single player and multiplayer. The single player gives an “early look into the quest for Gold with Bad Company” whilst the multiplayer offers “the all-new Gold Rush mode on the Oasis map, featuring land, sea and air vehicles” and the ability to “reach rank 4 in the demo to unlock an exclusive in-game weapon.”
Friday 13th June sees the release of an Alone in the Dark demo on the XBOX Live Marketplace, a week before the game’s full release. PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait till later this year for the demo when the PS3 version is released. Stay tuned to Console Monster for more details.
