If you have yet to sample EA and DICE’s upcoming fragfest that isBattlefield 3, then you will be happy to know that the Beta has infact been announced.September 29thwill be the date to mark off on your calendar, book time off work or call in sick for.

All Xbox 360, PS3 and PC players around the world will have access to the Beta on the 29th, however if you pre-ordered the PC game on Origin, or you pre-ordered the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor, you will recieve early access on the 27th and able able to get a head start on your buddies.

As expected, the Beta will be set in the same map as the Pre-Alpha version – Paris – in Operation Metro. Having played this map, gamers will be in for a real treat in a few days time – the map is a good laugh and fairly well balanced. Hopefully all the niggles that troubled the Pre-Alpha will be ironed out and us gamers will be able to get a taste of the Multiplayer aspect of the game before its releases on 28th October.

Let us know if you will be taking part in the beta. Not long to wait people!
