Assassin’s Creed film delayed due to ‘scheduling issues’

The Assassin’s Creed film has been delayed, according to reports.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that the script for the movie has had to undergo “several rewrites” and production of the video game adaptation has been plagued with “scheduling issues”.

The film, which stars Michael Fassbender, is not expected in cinemas until 2016. It was originally set for an August 2015 release.

Both Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and Assassin’s Creed: Unity launch on Friday, November 14th, 2014.
