Today saw the release of two titles on the Xbox Live Arcade. Both Pinball FX and Eets: Chowdown can be downloaded from today. Eets: Chowdown made a brief appearance in the morning, to then suddenly be pulled from the download list. This was due to a problem in launching the game. By the afternoon Eets was soon fixed and those who managed to downloaded the title this morning are encouraged to re-download the title again.
Dash details and points for both titles can be found below:
Pinball FX – 800 MS Points
Single Player, Xbox LIVE Multiplayer 2-4, HD (High Definition). Pinball FX sets a new standard for realistic ball physics and graphical detail in pinball video games. The FULL version supports the Xbox 360 Live Vision camera, which lets you control the flipper arms with hand/arm motions or chat live. You can also play in online multiplayer competitions, and download new tables from Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Pinball FX is pinball at its best!
Eets: Chowdown – 800 MS Points
Single Player, Local Multiplayer 2-4, HD (High Definition). Unlock all 120 levels, earn achievements, and play the unlimited version of Marsho Madness! With over 25 items and 4 unique worlds, there’s a lot more to experience in this innovative game.
Eets: Chowdown, once working, surprised us with its quirky graphics, Sam & Max’esk music and its slight nod towards the classic Lemmings style of gameplay. We thought Pinball FX felt a solid Arcade title, but with a limited amount of skins tables for your MS Points. Free downloadable tables seems unlikely here, but we would love to be proven wrong!
Did you purchase any of these titles? Let us know your views on them below.
Update: Gamers who managed to download Eets earlier may see the game appear twice in the Arcade dash. Neither will work if you see this, so we recommend you delete the last Eets download both before re-downloading.
