It’s Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday and as previously reported The Maw is out today and available to download now. The game weighs in at 147 MB and is available at 800 Microsoft Points. It’s worth mentioning at the time of writing that there are a few problems in downloading the game but just keep trying.

The Maw puts players in the role of Frank on an alien world where he meets Maw. The game sees players discover Maw’s abilities as you try to survive and ultimately make your way back home. The full version of the game contains a special unlockable theme and gamer pictures. To keep you occupied whilst you wait to download the award-winning title, here are the game’s achievements.
But it appears we’ve got maw than we bargained for as Major Nelson posted on his blog this morning that FunTown Mahjong is also released today at 800 Microsoft Points. A quick look at the Xbox Live Marketplace may suggest otherwise as it is nowhere to be seen. While we wait for more details, here are the achievements for the game.
